Happy Friday!! I’m sharing the easiest way to get stunning greenery arrangements without leaving your home!
Take some clippers or scissors and head into your backyard (or go on a walk) and forage for anything you can! I love cutting tree branches (flowering branches are the best) and anything with unique looking leaves. Obviously be respectful of other’s plants, but street + park trees are fair game IMO.
The past few weeks Iv’e been cutting cherry blossom branches and they were SO pretty in my house!
Gather a few vases you’re wanting to use, and decide what branches will go in what vases. I used my large thick branches for my statement vase, and everything else for my smaller ones.
I like to strip all the leaves on the “stem” part of the branch, so no leaves are inside the vases. This just makes for a cleaner look - especially in a glass vase like this. Also, soggy leaves get gross.
I’m so happy we finally have our first few roses of this year! I cut a few and put in my favorite little white vase and paired with leftover greens. When putting together arrangements of any kind, cut your stems at different lengths so there is height variation in your vase. This just makes it look more legit.
Place your vases all around your house and enjoy the freshness!
